She was born Linda Ann Hopkins on 25 July 1976 in Great Falls, Montana.Her family moved to San Francisco shortly after that. Her mom soon left the family to return to Thailand. Hence she was brought up in San Francisco by her father.Tera Patrick began modeling upon being discovered at age 13 while walking around the city's well known Fisherman's Wharf one day.
At the age of eighteen she gave up modeling and returned to school, obtaining a degree in microbiology. Despite the fact that she located employment as a nurse, her interest about topless modeling got the best of her, and she was soon showing up in men's publications. By 1999, she felt ready to dive into porno.
Tera wedded actor Evan Seinfeld and had been planning to leave the adult movie business, yet rather effectively broke out of her contract with Digital Playground and began her own production firm, Teravision Inc. Tera Patrick triggered a serious stir in the porno business in December 2002 when she declared her retirement from acting in porn movies, despite possessing approximately 5 years left on agreement with porn organization Digital Playground.
Tera returned to the adult film industry after having a one-year rest by signing with Vivid Video. The deal calls for her to star in three films for Vivid over the next 2 yrs and she'll perform along with her spouse Evan Seinfeld as well as other ladies only. (December 2003)
